Portret van Petrus Bliek (1706-97), remonstrants predikant te Amsterdam, met zijn vrouw Cornelia Drost (gest. 1775). In een interieur voor een grote venster met uitzicht op een gracht. Links zit Cornelia op een stoel aan een tafel, waaier en handschoen in de rechterhand, een boek in de linkerhand. Bij haar voeten een hondje. Petrus staat rechts naast de tafel, met zijn linkerhand tilt hij zijn toga iets op. Aan de muur twee wandblakers met spiegel.
