Zelfportret van de schilder Michiel van Musscher. Zittend, ten halven lijve, in een venster gevormd door draperieën en een basement. Palet, penselen en schildersstok in de linkerhand. Links een bellen blazende putto, rechts staat de Tijd met zeis en zandloper. Pendant van SK-A-4233.

• date: ‘Aº 1685.’
• inscription: ‘Dus heeft hier Muschers handt, deez Omtreck zelfs geg[even] / Tot een geheugenis, hoe zijn gedaente was / De Tijdt ondeckt hem wel, maer thoond' oock dat zijn glas, / Al veel verloopen is en leerd ons 't brosze leven.’
