Beschilderde boekband met een voorstelling van het uitbetalen van de gemeentesalarissen aan de nachtwakers in de 'Camera del Comune' te Siena. Kantoor met een betaalmeester achter een bureau, rechts vertrekt een nachtwaker met een lantaarn aan een stok over de schouder. Aan de muur hangen twee kruisbogen, een derde ligt op de bank.
