Portret van Willem Frederik Hendrik (1820-1879), prins der Nederlanden, bekend als prins Hendrik. Staande, ten voeten uit, aan dek van een schip, geleund tegen de loop van een kanon. Geportretteerd in admiraalsuniform, links op een tafeltje ligt zijn steek. Schets voor het levensgrote portret in paleis Soestdijk.
