The Annunciation to the Shepherds

David Vinckboons, 1604

An angel descends from heaven before the eyes of the startled shepherds, bringing them tidings of the birth of Jesus. They will find the Child swaddled in cloths in a stable. Vinckboons himself made a small print in reverse of this drawing.
