  • Het landschap en de leeuwen zijn spiegelbeeldig gekopieerd naar een houtsnede door Niccolò Boldrini naar ontwerp van Titiaan. De figuur van Hiëronymus voor de crucifix is ontleend aan een gravure door Nicolas Beatrizet naar ontwerp van Girolamo Muziano.
