Illustratie uit "Imitations of Ecologue I", de achttiende-eeuwse imitatie van de eerste Ecloge van Vergilius, geschreven door Ambrose Philips, waarin twee herders Thenot and Colinet met elkaar converseren. De prent maakt deel uit van een serie houtgravures die als illustratie was bedoeld voor het schoolboek "The Pastorals of Virgil", uitgegeven in 1821.
