Tankard with three medalions with the arms of Kiefhaber in front, the emblem of the potters' guild on the left and the arms of Schlick von Passau on the right. Saxony, Waldenburg, ca. 1580 - 1600. On loan from the Koninklijk Oudheidkundig Genootschap.

Description
Bierpul van steengoed met een cilindrisch lichaam, iets vernauwend naar de rand, en C-vormig, tinnen oor. Profielen onder de rand en boven de voet. Op de buik driemaal in reliëf een gedrukt en opgelegd medaillon, waartussen leeuwenkoppen. Links een voorstelling van de Zondeval, waarbij de boom der kennis op een pottenbakkersschijf staat (gildeteken?). In het midden het wapen van de Neurenbergse familie Kiefhaber met het merk 'D I.H.'. Rechts het wapen van de graven Schlick von Bassano. Hieronder een smalle band met afwisselend leeuwenkoppen en gevleugelde engelenkoppen. Ingegrifte, golvende lijnen op de voet en twee banden boven de medaillons. De bierpul is gevat in een tinnen montuur met deksel en spreidende voet. Waldenburg.
