2015 conference 2+3D Photography

The 2+3D Photography – Practice and Prophecies conference 2015 was a great success. A total of 265 delegates from 22 countries attended the event.

logo The two-day conference offered a varied programme with speakers who demonstrated new photographic developments in the area of 3D photography, shared experience with large digitalization projects, and spoke about standardization of 2D photography and color management. The “Instruction manual for photographing 2D objects” was published as a result of the conference, and can be downloaded here: Instruction manual for photographing 2D objects (pdf)

There were 14 busy workshops which focused on existing studio practices, some of the newest 3D techniques were demonstrated, and digital applications were discussed.

The conference closed with a discussion on the Amsterdam Principles. The delegates present voted unanimously in favor of the principles, which means that we – the heritage photography community – took a major step forward regarding our communal future. Standardization will guarantee the quality of all aspects of our work.

Via the following link you will find the available presentations given, including the Amsterdam Principles.

The atmosphere was lively as you can see in a selection of photographs made during the conference.
