The colours are bright and the brushstrokes spontaneous. The countless dashes and dots forming this landscape make the sea, sky and dunes flow into one another, without ever blurring their boundaries. Ferdinand Hart Nibbrig’s painting presents a style of Dutch landscape we don’t see very often.
