In 1904, James Higson, an amateur photographer from Manchester in England, travelled around the Netherlands shooting cityscapes of Amsterdam, Zaandam, Rotterdam, Scheveningen, and other places. Here, Higson captured the Rijksmuseum as it was in his day.
