Haarlem reception room 1794 Haarlem and Amsterdam, c. 1793-1795 designed by Abraham van der Hart (1747-1820), painted and gilded wood, embroidered silk, wool, Carrara marble, cut glass

This reception room from a Haarlem mansion was only used for evening receptions.
Almost everything is symmetrical, in keeping with the Neoclassical style that was in vogue at the time.
