You will see original artefacts that were actually there: eyewitness accounts, a victim’s bloodstained shirt. You will catch sight of key figures such as William of Orange and Piet Hein, and hear about the struggle for freedom of religion, about the resistance to the tyranny of king and church. It is a unique opportunity to form a full picture of this war, which led to the birth of the Netherlands as we now know it.
