Rembrandt-Caravaggio
The hugely successful Rembrandt-Caravaggio exhibition, organised by the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, concluded on 18 June at the Van Gogh Museum. In all, over 400,000 visitors saw the exhibition. It makes the show one of the best attended presentations at the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. To enable as many people as possible to see the exhibition in the final weekend the museum stayed open until 22.00. No less than 10,000 people visited the museum on that weekend.
