The Rijksmuseum collection is constantly developing. Objects are regularly bought and received as gifts. The Rijksmuseum is able to purchase items thanks to the support of institutions such as the Rembrandt Society, Sponsor Loterij, the Friends of Asicatic Art and the Waller Fonds, as well as the Rijksmuseum Fonds.
